ANNOUNCEMENT
Actual and potential partners and consultants of the GERES Group are currently being broadly defamed by an anonymously created Internet site that – with good reason – has been placed on the Internet through a geographically removed domain host who is hardly possible to approach through legal means. The only association of the affected parties is an involvement in the concerns of the company Viprinet GmbH in Bingen, Germany. The trigger for these insidious attacks may be the Shareholder decision of last August to remove, for cause, Mr. Simon Kissel from the position of Chief Executive Officer. A conflict of interest on the part of Mr. Kissel demanded immediate action and led to criminal charges on suspicion of misuse of Company property. The companies Computerman GmbH and the Nerdherrschaft GmbH, both also represented solely by Mr. Kissel as main partner and CEO, are also involved in these proceedings. The GERES Group has reason to believe that Mr. Kissel has at the very least espoused the content of the defaming Internet pages. Here as well as on the website of the Viprinet company itself, the persons of Mr. Johannes Bitschnau and Mr. William Mieger, among others, as well as the CEO of the GERES Group, Mr. Norbert Wiemann and his wife Carmen Wiemann are attacked with absurd defamations and anonymous allegations well beyond the imaginative capacity of a Mark Twain. We herewith give expressed notice that according to our best knowledge neither the above mentioned persons, nor the persons of Mr. Gerhardt Sundt and Josef Rentmeister as potential new investors, Mr. Eberhard Gratz as former emergency CEO of Viprinet GmbH, the legal counsel under the direction of Dr. Stephan Witteler, nor the auditors and tax advisors of the accounting consultants Klug & Engelhard under the direction of Dr. Andreas Klug are in any way, form or fashion subject to a charge of unethical not to mention criminal action.
The GERES Group accepts neither the form nor the content of these lurid, insulting and untrue defamations. The alleged acts have not occurred just as there are no court decisions that do or could back any alleged irregularity by one or several of the persons being attacked.
On the behalf of all of the affected parties, the GERES Group has already initiated civil and criminal action against the responsible parties. The actual difficulty in correcting or removing information posted on an Internet site that is not registered within Europe restrains GERES from taking action with all consequence against the perpetrators of this libelous content.
